Yesterday was Chips 2nd Birthday. I baked him a cupcake and we sang happy birthday. He had no clue as to what was going on but he loved his cupcake!
We then cuddled up on the lounge and watched David Attenborough documentaries Chips favourite! He actually sits there and watches the animals. I love watching him and often wonder what he’s thinking.
Chip has the best personality he will dance with me around the kitchen while I’m cooking, have his crazy run around the house and knock everything flying spurts and his cuddly sooky moments where he cuddles me for hours or follows me around the house like a lost sheep. I love them all!
He is my baby and I would be absolutely lost without him. He is my guard dog when Adam works nights and my best friend when I need someone to talk to.
I had the absolute funnest day! I spent the day with one of my favourite things on the planet flowers!
I’ve been meaning to make some bunches up for my beautician and hairdresser as a thank you for their amazing work on our wedding day.
I ventured up to Sydney Flower Markets at 3am this morning (I nearly died waking up that early!) That place is absolute heaven!! It’s a massive warehouse full of pretty much every flower you can think of.
I went a little overboard at the markets as usual, so I decided to make up a few bunches and sell them.
The dahlias were so gorgeous! They are my favourite flower as well as peonies. I wish I could spend everyday with these beauties.
Thank godness it’s the weekend I will definitely enjoy my Saturday morning sleep in!
So the other day we received our wedding photos and I thought what a perfect way to start my blog!
We got married on an estate called Summerlees in the Southern Highlands on the 21st of November. My heart was so full of love the entire day. I felt so truely blessed to be marrying the guy of my dreams and to have all our beautiful friends and family there to witness and celebrate our special day.
I am a big flower lover so I wanted flowers absolutely everywhere! Hanako from Hanako Floral Designs totally nailed my image which i was so grateful for. The reception flowers were done by myself, my dream is to one day open my own little florist shop.
Adam is a carpenter which was really handy with all my crazy diy ideas leading up to the wedding. Adam made our wedding arch, wedding arrow and our chalkboard. My beautiful friend Kate did all our signage she is one talented girl click here to check out her stuff!
To any of you out there planning your special day, enjoy it! Enjoy all of it, from the stressful times of planning to the explosion of butterflies in your belly the morning of the big day! It all goes so very fast so embrace it all.
I hope you enjoy browsing our wedding photos! It was so incredibly hard to pick which photos to share with you all, hopefully I didnt get to out of hand 😉
Enjoy the weekend! Take advantage of the sunshine while it’s still out and about x
